Press Release: Open Discussion on the Belize Real Estate Bill

Updated: May 31, 2020

by BNAR Secretariat

BELIZE CITY, BELIZE, May 28th, 2020 – In response to the call for public consultations following our pivotal meeting with the Lands Department in February, the Belize National Association of Realtors (BNAR) is holding the first of a series of educational and participatory webinars, Open Discussion on the Belize Real Estate Bill, to explain the draft real estate bill, take questions and feedback from viewers and make suggestions on the best way forward.

This bill is a landmark piece of legislation for the Real Estate Industry of Belize as it promises to finally regulate our industry and usher in licensing requirements for real estate professionals.

This webinar will review the Belize Real Estate Bill and will be followed by a Q&A, facilitated by our participating Attorneys-at-Law and moderated by the BNAR President.

We expect both members and non-members spanning the real estate profession but also related industries and service providers, as well as various government agencies.

The webinar will take place on Zoom on Friday, May 29th, at 3:00 PM Belize Time.

All professionals and stakeholders are encouraged to tune in and participate, by registering here: https://bit.ly/2XboERP
