The Belize National Association of Realtors is proud to announce that it’s Back with a Bang!

While the country is opening back up and Real Estate Professionals are getting back to work after a challenging time for our industry, BNAR has worked hard to bring you all the tools, resources, networking, partnerships and support that Belizean real estate professionals need to bounce back and even reach a higher level. Even in these new and trying times, where it is yet too dangerous to meet in person in large groups, technology has enabled us to continue fulfilling our mandate to our members in creative and cutting-edge fashion, and we’re excited to announce our plans. The Belize Real Estate industry was in desperate need of organization, education, and advocacy and BNAR is answering the call in a multi-pronged approach.

Firstly, after meeting with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Lands Department, in February to kick-start anew the revision of the long-awaited real estate bill, we were pleased to announce that the Ministry is fully engaged and wants to ensure a fair and transparent bill passage powered by thorough consultations which will be facilitated by the BNAR. While these consultations would normally be held in a large venue allowing maximum participants – in a sign of the times – we will instead be hosting a series of educational and participatory webinars starting this month which will shed light on the Real Estate Bill by explaining it in detail while also addressing questions and taking suggestions/feedback from our attendants. With the regulation of the real estate industry finally upon us, we need your participation to ensure everyone is on board. The more the merrier, so don’t be shy and secure your spot by registering here.

Secondly, the Belize National Association of Realtors is very happy to announce the commencement of professional online courses designed to offer our members the possibilities of expanding their skillsets and furthering their career goals while adopting international standards. These courses will encompass a range of pertinent best practices, and after the results of our industry survey, the first courses to be offered will be 1) Lead Generation Tools, 2) Listing Rules, 3) Brand You, 4) Video Marketing, and 5) Social Media Bootcamp. This is in addition to our mandatory Code of Ethics Training that will ensure every BNAR Member is a true Realtor of the highest standard. The best news: it’s all FREE for BNAR members. You can check out the official schedule on our website, and reserve your spot already for the first courses here.

And that’s not all! By being a member of BNAR, you have the unique opportunity to be designated as an International Realtor and be part of the largest real estate association in the world, with access to an exclusive network of international key actors, invaluable tools and resources, and access to the International Realtor MLS where you can get your listings noticed all around the world. And as a special treat for members and prospective members, we are going to have a special word and presentation by your NAR Global Coordinator to North America, Central America and Caribbean who will explain the many benefits of becoming an International Realtor through the Belize National Association of Realtors. You can check our website or social media channels for the schedule. In the meantime, you can pre-register here.

And lastly, we know how important it is for real estate professionals to connect, engage, share their opinions, and just talk business. This also helps us to better respond to the needs of our industry and we want to hear from you! We are thus pleased to announce the launch of BNAR’s ‘The Belize Real Estate Forum’ on Facebook. It is made strictly for real estate professionals and relies on peer invitations so as to maintain the highest level of professionalism. In this group, we have a range of topics for you to engage in including but not limited to Co-Broking, Education & Certification, The Real Estate Bill and Licensing, Job Opportunities, and Real Estate Industry Concerns. We will also make use of this platform to collect feedback from the real estate community and affiliates so we can continue to deliver exactly what our members need in a timely manner.

You can find all this information detailed and more on the BNAR website or on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn @belizerealtors
